Join us for the Grand Opening of the Story Hive at the Randall Davey Audubon Center on Saturday, October 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This free, family-friendly event celebrates nature, creativity, and hope as we launch a unique, permanent literary art sculpture in our garden.
Event Highlights:
- Guided art and writing projects for all ages, focused on sustaining hope and caring for our planet and each other
- Live music by Madi Sato
- Bilingual storytelling with puppeteer Michelle Adam
- Spoken word with Savannah Rodriguez
- “Recovering the Lost Words” photography exhibit by David Cook
- Opportunities to contribute your art, notes, poetry, and stories to the new Story Hive
- Free shuttle service between Atalaya Elementary School (721 Camino Cabra) and the Center
- American Sign Language interpretation throughout the event
All event information, prompts, and instructions will be available in both English and Spanish to ensure everyone can participate.
